Refund Policy
At The K Way Academy, we strive to ensure that all of our customers are satisfied with the services and training we provide. However, we understand that situations may arise where a refund is requested. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we will provide refunds for our lash training courses and services. By enrolling in our courses or booking services through our website, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds are available under specific conditions and must be requested within the designated timeframes:
• Lash Training Courses (2-Day or 5-Day Courses):
• Refund requests must be made no later than 14 days before the start date of the scheduled course. Refund requests made after this period will not be eligible for a refund.
• Any refund requested more than 14 days prior to the start of the course will be subject to a 10% administrative fee. The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
• Training Kits: Once the lash training kit has been delivered or collected, it is non-refundable. This applies to both 2-Day and 5-Day courses.
• Digital Materials: Any e-learning materials, digital guides, or manuals provided during or after the course are non-refundable.
3. Partial Refunds
In some circumstances, we may issue partial refunds. These include:
• Cancellations within 14 days of course start date: If you cancel your enrollment within 14 days of the course start date but more than 7 days before, we may provide a 50% refund, depending on the reason for cancellation.
• Training Interrupted by Emergencies: If you are unable to complete the course due to personal or medical emergencies, we may issue a partial refund or offer the opportunity to attend the course at a later date. This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and supporting evidence may be required.
4. Conditions for Refunds
To be eligible for a refund:
• The request must be submitted in writing via email to itsthekway@gmail.com
• Refund requests must include the original booking reference, full name, and reason for cancellation.
• Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund if:
• The request is not made within the specified timeframe.
• The customer has already received the course materials, such as training kits or digital guides.
• The customer fails to attend the course or appointment without proper notification.
5. Processing of Refunds
Once your refund request is approved:
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
• You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been issued.
• The refunded amount may take up to 7 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
6. Course Rescheduling
If you are unable to attend a scheduled training course, you may request to reschedule your course instead of receiving a refund:
• Course rescheduling requests must be made no later than 7 days before the course start date.
• Only one rescheduling request is allowed per course booking, subject to availability.
• Failure to attend the rescheduled date will result in forfeiture of the course fee, and no further refund or rescheduling will be allowed.
7. Changes to Courses and Services
The K Way Academy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course or service in exceptional circumstances. If we cancel or reschedule a course, you will be offered a full refund or the option to attend the course at a future date, depending on your preference.
